Notes
Hi Chad, thank you for your kind advice — I've been following your work for some time and really appreciate it. Based on your recommendations I redesigned the campaign into a more thoughtful structure. I split the site-wide banners into four phases: pre-launch buzz 200k impressions (May 21–25), launch window 100k (May 26–27), main campaign 350k (May 28–June 17), and final push 350k (June 19–25) — does this phasing look reasonable to you?
Regarding the Home Page Hero — I can see May 26 is unavailable. We're considering either May 28 (day 2 of the live campaign) or June 25 (last day of our Gamefound campaign). Based on what you've seen work, which would you recommend?
On geographic targeting — we're based in Czech Republic and since Gamefound is a Polish platform with a strong EU community, we'd like to prioritize Poland, UK, and broader Europe. We will also be shipping to the US and worldwide. Given our budget of $1,300, does it make sense to include US targeting or would you recommend keeping it focused on Europe to avoid spreading too thin?
I'm submitting the banners as placeholders for now — once we align on the final phase structure I'll update the creatives to match each stage's messaging. I understand it's largely trial and error, but do you have any general patterns or observations from campaigns you've seen that tend to perform well? We'd love to know if our approach looks on the right track before we finalize, and we're happy to iterate based on early CTR results.
