Text Evolution: New World is a popular science game designed by Dmitry Knorre, Ph.D. in Biology. It is an updated version of the 2010 classic Evolution: The Origin of Species, in which you do the work of nature, creating animals and giving them traits essential to survive and thrive in an ever-changing environment. Over the course of six Epochs, your successful animals evolve and procure food, while poorly adapted species become extinct or fall prey to predators. The game has a solid scientific base, and it includes scientific descriptions, real-life examples and colorful illustrations in the spirit of historical zoology artwork.
